Re-orientation cum Training on the Development of iCARE Video Lessons 

The virtual Training and Re-orientation on the Development of iCARE Video Lessons aimed to re-equip its participants with the skills and processes on the development of iCARE Video Lessons and to improve the iCARE system. It commenced with an opening program attended by the selected teacher-participants and division personnel. Statement of objectives along with other training preliminaries were presented. Before the start of the first session, those iCARE developers whose lessons were already published in the iCARE channel were given virtual recognition. On the first day of the virtual training, topics presented include Revisiting iCARE and its Status by Jemnah A. Macabe, EPS-Science; Elements of Techniques in Public Speaking by Noel D. Logronio, CID Chief; Parts of the iCARE Lesson by Francy Valdemoro, PSDS; Tips on Language Use by Jeanette M. Romblon, EPS-English; and Mastering the Sony Vegas Professional Video Editing Applications by Mher Rivera, Division ITO. On the second day of the training, Remy Joyce A. Viñas, T-III from JZSES, presented the topic on Learning about Canva Designs. After the lectures on different topics, the workshop on the finalization of lesson scripts and video editing followed. Selected participants presented their final output during the Demo Presentation of iCARE Video Lessons.

 

Pre-test and posttest were administered before and after the training, respectively. The training concluded with a closing program. Certificates were distributed to the participants. Among the challenges encountered by the training team and the participants include issues on internet connectivity and power interruptions. Despite the challenges, the training was successfully conducted as a result of the full cooperation of the participants.
